Hi all,

Just a little note to say that 'YES', there will be from this moment on an exclusive discount for DVD Forum members.

We will manually issue a £2 per DVD discount on all films ordered from our Region 1 section and 'Round The World' (basically everything except Region 2 DVDs). To qualify for this offer orders must be placed online and in the Name field 'DVD Forums' must be entered after the surname e.g. Peter Robinson DVD Forums

It does get better still, the £2 discount is a minimum discount but this could be increased by ourselves at the time of processing your order if we have received keener prices on the purchase of the goods or we just don't fancy earning that day.

Now, for those of you who don't know us, we are a relatively small company with a total of eight employees. We are based in the UK and ship all products via RM First Class. Being in the UK is good for providing a speedy service but bad for prices as we are liable for vat, duty etc. Anyway, as far as prices go we will do what we can for you.

Now, i will not be posting here much, we have a lovely young lady who is going to answer any questions/queries etc you may have. Her name is Chrissy Scott, please make her feel welcome (i'm sure you will).

Some of those prices on the site are tooooo HIGH...
A forum discount...just makes the price the same as competitors.....

On a positive note...:) I have used you guys before...and I had no probs...as a matter of fact the parcel went walkies....and it was replaced immediately...:)

I noticed that too mate - they've always been a bit dearer than others. I was hoping that if they get a bit more business pushed their way they might reduce their prices (or increase the discount ;) )

That's why I gave them 3 orders of mine, despite the fact that last year they stiffed me on X-Men...

In response to the last two comments (prices). Roy has made a good point, the more orders we get, especially pre-orders, the more discount we can give. The minimum discount per title (excluding Region 2) is £2, However, if we have enough orders for a particular title, this discount will be increased. Though you may think that I have a biased opinion, I can assure you that I order all my DVD's for my family from Interdvd, as they do seem to get the titles in stock in advance of the release dates and there service is A1.

I would agree - you are biased

On a separate issue, anyone fancy overcharging me for a couple of discs???? I desperately need the two most rare titles on Earth, 400 Blows Criterion and Salo Criterion. They are a sweetner for my web guy (they will complete his Criterion collection). I am open to all offers, regardless how ridiculous

I've just finished watching 'Joyride'. It wasn't the most hyped film of late, but it is brilliant and has a 29 minute long alternate ending. It has some similarities to 'Jeepers Creepers' but isn't as far fetched and in my opinion is much better. The alternate ending is so different from the original ending that it's like having two films in one. it's well worth watching.

P.S. I haven't seen Jay And Silent Bob yet, could somebody let me know if I should bother.

Saw it at the cinema, not one of his best efforts, still funny though, but it still didn't stopme from buying the DVD. I haven't seen Chasing Amy or Clerks, but I have to say Mallrats and Dogma are excellent.

Clipper, I was just about to tell you that it was shipped yesterday, but as you've already received it then I don't suppose there's a need. As for further reductions on the other Star Trek series, contact me before you order them and I'll see what I can do. You obviously live by my motto which is 'If you don't ask, you don't want'.

Chas, Training Day was also sent out yesterday, so if you haven't received it this morning then you certainly will tomorrow.

We have The Others on the website Region 3, for forum users it is £13.99 and it's available now. I have a copy of it and so long as you've got a multi-region player, the only difference is the cover. If you wanted it Region 1 or 2, we haven't got a confirmed release date yet so until we do, it won't be on our site. Approximate date for Region 1 is May.

As for when we'll have Original Sin, I don't know yet, but I will try to find out and let you know on Monday.

Thirteen Ghosts - damn it! I knew I'd forgotten something!
I went to Bowlers today to buy direct from these guys (met Adam, cool guy :cool: ) as my credit card is complaining under the strain so needed to pay in cash :)

Great, friendly service from these guys, will be using these as my main supplier from now on. Recommended. :)
Plus I only went to buy two disks, ended up buy four :( :p
I blame Adam, he gave me a good price on the OZ boxset that I couldn't resist. ;)
