Samsung D900 not reconising memory card?

just inserted a 2gb memory card into the wifes phone and it recognises it but the memory doesnt show up, i have put into card reader and copied a song with no problems, the computer knows its there but the phone doesnt, when its inserted into the phone it gives the option to format, press yes and error comes up?

I seem to remember that this phone won't work with a 2GB card. I'm sure it's the phone my sister-in-law has and she had problems with a large memory card. I think she ended up using a 512MB card.

im sure some people have 2gb cards working on d900 so it is most likley the newest firmware that has sorted the problem. you may need an update.
also make sure you format the card to fat16 in pc first (and not quick format)
also best to use decent make card like Sandisk
