I e-mailed $ky this morning re season 9 of the X-Files. Haven't heard a peep about Lone Gunmen though. Can't imagine we'll see it before Millenium on DVD.

Can't see the Lone Gunmen pilot being shown on Sky or released on DVD as it is about a conspiracy by the American government to fly a plane into the World Trade Center and then blame it on terrorists.

Strange coincidence - I found a low quality divx version of the first episode this week and, knowing nothing about the storyline, was stunned to see them board a plane for Boston which the government was going to fly into the World Trade Centre to stimulate arms sales by blaming terrorists. Very disturbing.
The series itself didn't seem too bad, although I've yet to track down the later episodes. No worse than later X-Files (although I missed s8 on Sky because of Friends..) Can't see the pilot ever being shown anywhere in the world again.

But Friends is also repeated on Friday and Sunday nights on E4 (and was last season too) so no excuses for missing it really!

Girlfriend going through a difficult time at work and she wanted to watch the Thursday showing. Aren't I nice? I also assumed that the BBC showings would only be a few months behind...
