Daredevil movie casting - opinions?

Most of the major roles in the upcoming Daredevil movie have been cast. Ben Affleck will play Daredevil/Matt Mudrock, Colin Farrell is Bullseye, Jennifer Garner from the surprisingly great TV show Alias is Elecktra, and, most controversially, Michael Clarke Duncan will be the Kingpin.

I think this is shaping up to be a pretty exciting movie, and 2003 is looking like a great year for superhero flicks with this, Ang Lee's Hulk, and X-Men 2.

btw what's so controversial about having a black Kingpin? The character just needs to be a Big Bad MF! Michael Clarke Duncan sounds like perfect casting to moi!

I want to see some pictures first im just happy they have got the spidey movie ( or what I have seen ) spot on ..

I always thought Guy Pearce was perfect for the part of Daredevil, so it's a shame they never got him.

Those that have read the script say it's very good, and much more adult-orientated than most superhero movies.

In other words, don't expect any Burger King tie-ins!

Ben Affleck is a huge daredevil fan, I've got the Kevin Smith daredevil graphic novel and the forward is written by Ben. Nice to see a fan in the role.

I think Ben Affleck will be great as Daredevil, It's about time people started to make decent versions of Marvel charactors. So far the only one to be any good was Blade (Can't wait to see Blade2!). You never know maybe if Spidey takes off (Which it should) they may finally green-light the fantastic 4.
