Samsung U600

I've got a Samsung 600 and just bought a 2gb sd card so I can use it as an mp3 player when I haven't got my ipod. Only thing is I've just noticed that the headphone socket seems to open up in such a way that it leaves the cover part of the casing sticking out, that makes it impossible to put the phone in your pocket unless you want to run the risk of it snapping off. Anyone know If I'm opening it wrong or something?

Nope, unfortunately all the slim Samsung phones suffer from this.

Whomever thought "hey, lets just have a little sliver of plastic pop out and spin 180° around, and stick out and risk easy damage even though it is only being held in place by a 3mm piece of twisty plastic type cover for the charging/headphone point" should be beaten ... repeatedly
