LG Viewty Problem with screen

Hello,

I left my phone on the table yesterday and some body ran the screen config thing. Its where the 5 crosses appear and you have to press them and it sets up the screen. HOw every they messed it up and now when i press the buttons different are presses. e.g i am writing a text and i press a and j will appear.
Now i wouls just click on the four little dots -> the cog (4th one down) -> phone set up and screen config.
But i can't press the cog on. Does any one know of a way to either return to factory settins or to move to the sub menu with out the srceen.

If you can type this in

3845#*990#

And scroll down there is a factory reset in this Service Menu. It will completely nuke the handset though.

Unfortuntly that didn't seem to work. When i typed it in a press the call button i get a message saying "please try again".

edit: thank you. i had to enter the number without deleting sections of it. so i finally managed to get the menu up.
