OK I know the answer to that is YES to save a lot of posts but I am confused...

I am about to get an Iphone (favour from a friend etc) and I have ordered an O2 Simplicity sim with unlimited web browsing as I think that is what I need to make the most of the device...

However on the bolt-ons I see that unlimited wi-fi is also available. So what am I missing here? Surely wi-fi is linked to the device and not the sim? If I was in McDonalds for example I could use free wi-fi??

Can anyone explain what this bolt on does ????

The wi-fi is for the BT Openzone/The Cloud wi-fi networks

But if I am with BT I can use Openzone anyway cant I? Its part of the package???

You might well have but not everyone is a BT subscriber so they might prefer to have access to external wi-fi - the Cloud/BT Openzone combo will offer people a very large number of wi-fi APs to connect to.

Ok, think this maybe the thread to ask it in - but I'm a tad confused over the whole wi-fi (Cloud) bolt-on over the Web bolt-on in the current offer.

Does the type of phone I'd be putting the sim into have anything to do with which bolt-on would be better for me?

I'm currently on T-Mobile Flext 35 with a MDA Comp 3, but with the right (any suggestions?) sim-free phone, this might be a deal to save me some cash :)

I still like the whole touch-screen format and WM6+GPS would be a bonus as I'd still like to keep TomTom installed. But I'e got WnW on my current deal and could do with some help getting my head around what would be my better option.

Also, would it be possible to transfer my existing T-Mobile number to a O2 sim after my contract expires (should I wish to grab this £20 deal whilst it's still on offer) ?
