Tiny Computers - bust and bought out

Time Computer has bought the business and certain assets of Tiny Computer, the UK's biggest PC maker, which went into receivership yesterday.

I thought Time themselves were in trouble?

Time cut a lot of staff mid last year which was where many of the stories came from (disillusioned ex-staff possibly making stuff up).

Tiny never reduced their costs and with computer prices falling roughly 30% over the past year (many people now purchase a machine at £699 where last year a usable machine was nearer £1000) they couldn't increases sales enough to compensate.

Either way I've always avoided both companies like the plague and I don't think that will change.
