View Full Version : Under 18 - Deliveries
I ordered Memento from under18.org.uk on the 16th (of January) and recieved an e-mail confirming that it had been despatched on the 21st (they also charged me at this point). I had heard that they took a while to deliver, but I wasn't in too desperate to get it immediately. The 3-5 working days they advised to allow went by and there was still no sign of it arriving, and it still hasn't arrived today.:mad: I have sent an e-mail telling them the situation and when I recieve a reply I will post what they said.
This is my first order with Under 18 and I was wondering if it was common to have to wait this long for DVDs from them.

I wouldn't blame Under18 for the long delivery time, thats down to The Royal Snail isn't it?
I usually get my discs from them within a week, don't know why. And I had one disk go missing, waited a week, one e-mail later and a replacement was sent out the next day. Can't fault them myself.
Been using them since they first started - very good service, although disks do occasionally go missing from thieving postmen - aparantly they are looking at introducing a service like Play where you have to sign for the dvd's to cut down on this.
Mine have usually taken a week to arrive from the 'posting' date.
Give it at least a week, if you havent recieved it by this time, send them a quick email.
They are certainly not the quickest but I have always had things arrive within the 3-5 days and I must have bought 30+ disks from them. Sound like another postal mistake:(
As above I've always received my discs in a week.
I all so ordered Memento on the same date 16/01/02
and a music cd as well the music cd arrived Yesterday
but no sign of the dvd yet first time using them as well

For some reason, a lot of items that were despatched on this day have not arrived at their destinations. We are currently investigating this with the post office. In the meantime, in order to minimise inconvenience for our customers, we are sending out replacements to anyone who has not received their disc. A replacement copy of Memento will be despatched as soon as possible.
So if your goods were despatched on 21/01/02 and you still haven't recieved them then send them an e-mail.

I sent off an e-mail telling Under 18 that it had arrived and they have said that most items "...seem to be arriving eventually."

Maybe it's just me, but I have noticed that stuff that has been sent to me from the Channel Islands seemed to take longer to make it to England than stuff sent from Australia ...
I placed an order around the 16th which also went missing. Emailed them after a week ( they responded within 24 hrs ) and they sent me a replacement - arrived within 3 days. Postage from under18 has always been fairly slow to me, nearer 7 days than 3-5, but they have always been reliable and responded to emails promptly.

My copy of Once Upon a Time in China 3 was shipped on that day and it hasn't arrived. I've emailed them about it. Thanks.
