Hi all,

Does anyone know where I can get a money counting machine? I can't find one anywhere, I assume some office suppliers or similar must have 'em but they must all be hiding from me.

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers!

I charge 20p an hour, and I'll even bring my own sandwiches.

Do you really think that this is for me? :p

If I had a need for a money counting machine, then I wouldn't be ****** about being unemployed now would I?:(

It's for a friend of mine (no, really, it IS for a friend of mine), who doesn't like banks and keeps all his money stashed around the house. And I mean quite a LOT of money. He's always losing track of it and he's been needing a machine for ages now, but he hasn't found one.
I thought if I got one for him, he'd be pleased enough to lend me one of his cars for a while (he's got loads of them too, *******).

Oh, Dochall, nah it ain't drugs mate - there's not enough money in that for him. ;)

And Baps, unlike my mate I do use banks to keep all my money in, and my last statement said £6.32p  Oh well.. I'll start earning some cash......... someday. :)

Anybody got any real help? :p

Asda often have them in their shops (to pour yur change into). YOu should be able to find a manufacturer on it which would be a starting point.

Good idea, but I haven't seen any like that nor the ones I want.
I'm talking about the ones where you put in a shed load of notes in the top and it counts out the money in bundles of 100's or whatever so you can put the paper bands around them.
I've looked on ebay and yahoo auctions but haven't seen any.:(

I've found this (http://www.postweigh.com/counters.htm) which I think is basically what my friend is looking for, but I can't find any prices on it, nor any resellers of it. I'll probaby give the details of the company to my friend and he can chase it up.

If anybody on here works in an office or somewhere that has a machine similar to the one I've described, could you tell me the make of it so I can find out more about them and get some comparisons.

Cheers.

Actually, I'd tell you if you really, really, really wanted to know. But don't blame me when you wake up hospital, or if something worse happens...... ;)
My mate is not the kinda guy you'd want to meet down a dark alley, or in fact a well lit one for that matter. He's been known to pick car engines up with his bare hands and hold it up while a mechanic bolted it into the engine bay.
Actually, someone tried to drive through his perimeter wall recently and all they ended up doing was twisting the big iron gates and demolishing part of the wall. I don't know if they were really trying to gain entry that way (but I told 'em before hand they'd need something heavy to get through and not a Mondeo) ;)

And I'm not even gonna tell you what he likes to do with a pipe and some rusty barbed wire...... ouch!

:D

Are you sure he doesn't actually really like banks? Perheps a bit too much. And now feels it's better not to go in certain branches again?:D

LOL! :D

What I meant was, he just thinks banks are too slow. He spends money like it's going out of fashion, and doesn't like messing around with cheques and having to go to the cash machine several times a day, so he keeps cash around that easily accessable.
