Does anyone know if this will be released on dvd
as i thought the series was excellent, it started
in 1994 and ran for four years and 84 episode. the was brillant and had such great stories such as the neogenic nightmare, the secret wars and the venom saga, so does anyone have any news to release a boxset or something ?
And if not i say we start a petition!!

I should imagine by this summer when the film's released every thing with 'Spidey' related will be released to cash in.

( a new CGI Spider Man cartoon( by the reboot people) will start late summer to cash in.)

Oh Yeah!!!! that was amazing!!

Funky upbeat jazz soundtracks ahoy!!

Amazing effects too - my favourite being fitting Nicholas Hammond's colossal hair perfectly into his Spidey mask:

It was cool. The budget got markedly less & less as the series went on - witness the gossamer-like webbing at the beginning to the inch thick cable-like effort used in later episodes.

Can you believe I chose to see the Spidey film rather than Star Wars? What a mistake that was!!! :(

Aye, as a kid it always puzzled me how, in the series, the 7ft beefcake henchman baddy types got thwarted by Spidey lobbing washing line at 'em as opposed to showering them with jets of sticky white mucus like in the comic...

You can get a few episodes of The amazing Spider-man on VCD the quality is a litlle dodgy in places but it brings back such memories, Fire Star is still a foxy chick even by todays animated standards :D

someone on ebay is normally selling them too. ;)

Well, its 2004 now... still no sign of Spiderman the Animated Series (90's version). Really would like to own this on dvd. Even though they show it on tv sometimes, they never show it past season 4 :(

Get the region 1 version of it, if you can't be bothered waiting for the region 2

That's not the 1990's series. It's the not-as-good series shown on MTV in the States set after the 1st film.

Well they are releasing the early 90's Batman series on DVD so i wouldn't rule out the chance of Spiderman as well.

They seem to be more interested in the themed DVD's at the moment though (like the simpsons ones).
