I have a copy of Hitch Hiker's Guide... DVD on order from 101cd.com. Never used them before, but had a couple of safedoor vouchers to use up and the price worked out pretty good (£15.99).

I've also got the Robocop set on pre-order for next month (works out at just £21.99 with £5 safedoor voucher :D )

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of their service and can tell me how long I'm likely to be waiting for my DVD.

I've used thema few times for CD's and found them pretty quick on in-stock items (sent 1st class the day after ordering). Haven't tried them on DVD pre-orders though, but I would have thought that they'd post them as soon as they come in. They'll send an e-mail when it has shipped anyway.

One thing though if you order a couple of titles together they will wait and post them altogether, so if one is late comming in you'll have to wait.

Thanks for the reply, pompeyfan.

Just one thing I'm not too clear on: I made two separate orders for these items. Does this mean that they will treat them as one order, then wait for the Robocop set to be released next week and ship Hitch Hiker's out with it?

I wouldn't have thought so as you'll have paid full postage on each.

I think it only applied to the CD's I ordered because the first was £1 postage and each thereafter 25p, so if I'd have paid a £1 postage for each (seperate orders) they'd have sent them seperatly.

Yes, of course! That makes sense.

I was forgetting about the separate postage payments.

Cheers!
