Right, I'm trying to set up a custom playlist on my X-Box 360, but it's proving troublesome, I can get to the playlist screen which allows me to delete songs and change their order, but not actually listen to them (it just starts playing the first song on my current playlist (which is everything on my 360)), so I have no idea what song is what. I don't seem able to create a new playlist, just edit the current one (i.e. everything).
Am I missing something obvious? Really would just like to be able to go through each song in a list, listen to a few seconds and add it to the list if I want to, can I do that? Because I've been at it for half an hour and if I hear the the opening beats of the first song on my current playlist again (3am eternal) I'm going to kill someone!
edit - Made some progress, I was eventually able to create a blank playlist and start adding songs to it (though that was not exactly easy to do), but the moment I played a song to hear what it was, it deleted the entire playlist without any sort of warning. I'm sure I must be missing something fairly obvious here, as I can't believe anyone could design a user interface quite as useless as this one, but really, I'm lost, and getting frustrated!
