View Full Version : Cheapest place for cheap USB scanner?

My father-in-law bought the Umax Ultraslim scanner from Argos the other day - powered through the USB. Needless to say, his laptop doesn't like it very much. So I'm looking for an equivalent scanner for and equivalent price (£50), that has a seperate power supply.

Your help in finding a source of such an item would be greatly appreciated.

r u selling the argos one then? Or are you just going to return it. Might be interested in buying this from you if available.

Agfa Snapscan 1212 is good, I have used Epson and Umax also, but the Agfa seems quite friendly.
