Quizmania returns, but in a different way...

I notice Quizmania will be returning this week from Thursday to Saturday 9pm-12am, though there is a slight difference in that it will be online only at http://www.quizmania.tv and you will need to do a quick register to play for free or give a few more details if you want to pay to test your skills and possibly win money. I never really phoned up for this show to be honest with you guys, but I'll login and see what's it's like on Thursday and hopefully their server won't crash. There is a kind of recorded version on the website now to give you an idea of what it will be like when it's live, though you will need to be logged in to play it.

I remember watching it because I totally fancied one of the female presenters. I found the whole concept of these channels utterly repellent, however.

Quizmania was always the best, I always stay up very late so I would have QM on in the background. Didn't ring up though.

It was hilarious but pointless paying to play as it was 25p to win £1.14 etc (And that assumed you were the top out of 180 players!).

Highlights included Flash turning into Boris Johnson and Arnie as the special guest :lol:

I think it has quite a bit of potential once all the niggles are ironed out as it's in a beta stage at the moment and it did take a while before I could see or hear anything probably because of the server being overloaded. I think they should sort something out with regards to the paying option as the really small winning amounts are beyond a joke because there isn't much in the kitty as not enough people are paying. On another note Greg Scott won't be returning and I don't think Debbie will be either.

YEP Greggles sadly wont be returning which is a shame as he has confirmed this on his website :(
I did love watching Quizmania though because in a strange way, it was very enjoyable to watch even though I would never phone up to try and win anything, and Greggles always stole the show, he was just brilliant, a shame he wont be returning, but hey ho, I might watch the show tonight online just to see what its like anyway, but probably only play along for fun instead of paying
