I ordered GTA3 from them shortly after it came out, and weeks went by with nothing arriving (they debited my CC on recieving the order), sending them email after email, and getting apologies and the like for the first week, standard emails for the second week, and being ignored for the third week, I finally gave up and emailed them to cancel.
I then switched off the computer and made my way down the the ASDA down the road, where I bought the game.
I got home and switched on the computer, checked my email and saw that they had sent me a reply to the cancellation - they had sent the game out! The email they sent me was sent over two hours after me sending the cancellation email.
I played the ASDA copy until the Simply Games one turned up in the post, upon which I took it back to ASDA, unharmed, for a full refund.
However, I had also ordered another game at the same time as this one (SSX Tricky on pre-order), for which they had also charged me immediately, and I had cancelled later that same day, as I saw it cheaper at Play 24/7.
A week or so after receiving GTA3 from them, my CC bill arrived, and there was the charge from them for SSX at the top of the bill, but over the four following weeks, there had been no refund, which i had to email them to get.
Troublesome.

I got my PS2 from them, with Time Crisis 2 and region x and got it no problem at a decent price.
I ordered SSX Tricky from them and it arrived day after release day - cheaper than in the shops.
Considering getting a PS2 from them, what are they like delivering? fast or slow?

Web site still quoted another 3-7 working days to stock the item, for an extra £5 i could have one in my hand in 10 mins
Looks like they hadn't updated the web site, but thats hardly my problem is it ?
Stu
No probs when i ordered a PS2 memory card. About 2-3 days.
which was nice
simplygames.com has gone under new management and the site looks smart.
Its probably been taken over by the previous Splash owners. :norty:
What a change of site design!
Looking good
Have dealt with them in the past on a couple of items which I got no problem - used to be quite cheap for some titles too.
Course new management now so will have to check em out.:)

It's been taken over by Andromeda Entertainment - one of the largest distributors of video games in the UK and an extremely reputable company. This happened about 18 months ago, so the GTA3 story posted above is a bit on the irrelevant side.
I'd say your money is in safe hands.
