When does iplayer update

It's there now. As to your question - it varies. Sometimes it's within minutes, but one episode wasn't up until the next day.

I've missed The Apprentice a couple of times and looked to watch it on iPlayer later that evening as well. It's frustrating that You're Fired was up way before the main programme on both of those occasions.

The official line is that they try to get programs up as soon as possible (within 2 hours), although there can sometimes be delays.

Argh, how annoying. Watched the footie so missed The Apprentice, was hoping to catch up on iPlayer when I got in and once again You're Fired is up but the main show isn't. :mad:

I don't get how the system works, surely it would make sense to already have non-live programmes prepped for streaming and just need to make them accessible once aired? I'd understand if it was live and they needed time to convert to a streaming format before they can put it up but most of the iPlayer content is pre-recorded anyway.

Wouldn't mind so much if the didn't plug the damn thing at every opportunity, "Catch up on the BBC iPlayer. Making the unmissable, unmissable.... eventually". Rant over. :D

It's been up for the past half hour or so. Seems the Beeb's iPlayer team were also watching the footie!

Really? I can still only see You're Fired Ep.9 (and The Apprentice Ep.8, You're Fired Ep.8 and The Apprentice Sport Relief special).

Can't see it linked on the home page, through search or the A-Z listing. :thinking:

I watched it on on Iplayer at 11.30 via Virgin Media. It wasn't on the website about 10 minutes before though.

That'll explain it then. Spent ages waiting for it to update and then finally gave in and went to bed. Didn't occur to me that it might have been wrongly titled. :doh:
