...Or 4x07 if you're following the Razer storyline as canon...

Another ho-hum ep until the last few moments, it's pretty obvious where we're headed now.

Something needs to happen soon though... :|

On the other hand, I do like the Kara/Leoben interactions, throughout the whole series, and in this episode - it's like they were made for each other.

I agree, a slow burn is one thing but we're running out of episodes! C'mon BSG, don't fail me now! http://publish.hometown.aol.com/goldfishrich/images/praying.gif

I agree with the above posts, i don't mind "slow burner of a story" but this feels very very slow and being the last ever series they don't have the time.

Yawwwwwn. Someone needs to give this show a serious kick up the frackin' ass before it spirals further down this path of depressing mediocrity. :|

I'm normally being supportive of the 'slow-burn', but I too am starting to think they are taking their time too much. I'm aching for a bit of action. Another vote for 'ho-hum'.

Well on the bright side, I did like Baltar's new coat.

Glad I'm not the only one thinking this is a tad slow - come on already guys, give me some action and some frackin' answers!!

I can understand people's desire for some answers (and even I'm surprised that Moore & co are taking so long to get it going) but I was riveted throughout.

Hmmm, I thought that was superb as usual. Excellent character based drama. At least these people rise above the ciphers you normally get in most tv drama.

Another episode were we get S L O W build up & character moments, BUT have we not had the same build up already before:thinking:

Apart from the Chief & Balter bits there was no new character moments or developments.

We knew Starbucks crew did not agree with her mission & questioned her sanity around 3 episodes ago, yet it was all re-done here.

We have seen the Kara/Leoben interactions before, & did we learn anything new from them this week?

As I have said before I like a S L O W build up if it gets you somewhere in a fresh & dramatic way, but we just seem to be re-going over what has gone on before.

I C'mon BSG, don't fail me now! http://publish.hometown.aol.com/goldfishrich/images/praying.gif
This is how I now feel after starting to watch/during, & after the last few episodes too.

Apart from the very last few seconds there wasn't anything in that episode for me, I really don't get the Baltar stuff and Starbuck's one woman mission was starting to become a tad boring but hopefully things will pick up next week.

I agree it's excellent character based drama - but damn it we've got a universe with walloping great spacecraft, nippy little fighters, evil robots, artificial humans and a whole mystical thing going on - and we get *character* drama? I want spaceship drama. Major revelations drama. Fighting drama. There's no reason you can't do that *and* develop your characters.

There were a couple of smiles this week, admittedly post coital, so maybe things are lightening up a bit?

I think the lack of replies to this thread says it all. The only reason people are staying with the show is to see how it ends and what happens to characters we becam interested in in the first two series.

I enjoyed the first (Original) BSG feature film in the cinema (along with thundering pullaway shots of the Galactica and thundering engine bass!)

I have been riveted by every episode up to the end of season 3. I enjoyed watching them (historically after broadcast) 2 or 3 episodes at a time, rather than have to wait week to week. So I didnt have to hang in limbo after a "dull" episode.

Yes Baltar is annoying and things are a wee bit slow so I hope something happens soon, but I am still riveted and I hope the ending does not dissapoint.

I think the lack of replies to this thread says it all.I had to wait a few days to see it as my Sky box cocked up (I started watching just as the recording was finishing, which audacity caused it to freeze, reboot, and become unwatchable from the planner). Lucky there was an HD repeat on Friday night! ... Although it's unlikely that everybody has the same reason for not commenting. :p

I enjoyed this as always. Again I think that the personality traits of the 12 models are becoming important: Leoben seems to be necessary in helping Kara get to Earth. How aware are the Cylons of their own plan, I wonder?

Can we rule anybody out of being a Cylon? I'd imagine that Lee can't be one, since he's Adama's son and the admiral would have noticed him not being really born (unless Adaman's encounters during the Cylon war include some incident not yet shown where his mind is messed with). Also, I can't imagine Cylons getting as fat as Lee did during New Caprica.
