My Nintendo Wii obsessed wife just noticed and ordered Super Monkeyball: Banana Blitz (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=311&url=http://www.zavvi.co.uk/super+monkey+ball-Super-Monkeyball-Banana-Blitz/751757/q.r10.1/p.jsf) for the Wii that we don't even own yet! Would be rude not to I guess as it's just £11.99 including P&P from Zavvi. Loved the others on the Game Cube and am hoping that we love this one as much.

The confirmation email that we got says that it's out of stock but that it will be delivered once they get more in at the warehouse. Fingers crossed.

Tried to order it but some brain dead programmer has decided that double barrelled names are not to be allowed in the registration form  "Surname must not contain any special characters".

Thanks for the heads up though.

Can't you just leave a space between names?

Having played all the Monkey Ball games this is the worst by far.

I think you are better off playing the GameCube versions on the Wii tbh

I can't complete the transaction either, says there's an error but doesn't say where, have given up.

Thanks OP, will try again later

Go for Kororinpa instead - Similar principle better done

Or Mercury Meltdown. Better done than MonkeyBall and Kororinpa.

I second that. I got it with my wii and just couldn't enjoy it. They try to use the wii remote to move the ball and it just didn't feel right.

Yeah have to add my dislike of the game too. Very Very disappointing indeed!

Sounds like I had a lucky escape then. I loved Monkey Ball on my GC.

Mercury Meltdown Revolution is only £13.96 from Amazon (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=8&url=http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000MVD1OY/thedvdforums-21)

There is a video here (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=41&url=http://www.dvd.co.uk/Games/Mercury-Meltdown-Revolution-Nintendo-Wii/OC45183/product.htm?fs=froogle) but doesn't really look that inspiring to me

Mixed reviews though it's said the oringinal Mercury Meltdown was a better bet

Mercury Meltdown is pretty good and a steal at that price.

Looking at the video of Mercury Melton, not impressed it looks primative.

Kororinpa wins hands down on the cute level.

The voices on SMB are grating - does anyone know how to turn them off?
