Got the choice of a BA/Quantas flight or a Singapore airlines (only about twenty quid difference in price) flight straight to Oz. My dad prefers Singapore airlines, but has anyone any preferences?

Just check your total travel time, ie stopovers...

Yeah I have done, but there isn't a great deal in it. After going Japan Airlines last time I don't mind another hour or two as long as it is comfortable and the food tastes like food!

Singapore airlines are by far the best choice unless you are traveling with small children then go quantas

JAL tend to have the smalles seats ever designed and if you are large you will definitely have trouble (They must be designed around the typical Japanese person). They do offer go food but are a bit on the stingy side. One plus is the fact that they have a nose cam which certainly makes take-off and landing that little bit more interesting. Especially when there is a plane at the end of the runway, when coming in to land

I didn't really mind as I hadn't been on a plane before (nothing bigger than an 8 seater!) and with moving out here it didn't really matter (I was exited and all that). However now I know how long the flight is I want to be in comfort, and speed for my journey.

Anyway looks like I'll probably go for Singapore ailines as they are a fiver cheaper and Slow Joe (Thanx), my dad & another mate have all recomended them.

I just have to wait until that super jet mention on Tomorrow World a few years ago is released...........
