Hi does anyone know if www.absound.ca is customs friendly ?, as I am looking to order 3 DVD's 1 in stock, 1 on pre order, and 1 out of stock.

And does anyone know what their policy is on shipments, (do they wait until all DVD's are in stock before sending them out?)

Thanks
Matt

http://www.thedvdforums.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=48787 they do give seveal options for shipping but I don't have any open orders atm so don't remember exactly what they are. Soemthing like ship when in stock, ship when ALL in stock and a couple more iirc, maybe someone with an open order can clarify on it :)

customs-wise, watch out! Sadly, they do nothing to help avoid customs fees, although they do declare the price of the product without adding the P&P which can sometimes make all the difference. I got stung once before and only stick to orders <£18 now.

Having said that, loads of members here could happily say that they've had large orders sail through, but just beware.....

Hit and miss. That is the general experience from past threads. I wouldn't risk it but I have never made an order over £18. At least they domn't use big boxes like amazon

I agree with what has already been said it's a bit hit and miss but at the prices they charge it's worth the risk. I ordered 3 dvds before Christmas and they arrived without any trouble from customs and I have just ordered 3 more. I like to stick with 3 because the package will not be so big as to bring itself to the notice of customs and the cost is not much more than the price of shipping one dvd (about £5.00)

Just order them all seperately, why bother risking it?

Not customs, nor customer freindly.

You can always chance it, I have been hit once out of seven large orders.
