Has anyone got a Cahoot (http://www.cahoot.com/) credit card? Is it any good?

I wanted a credit card with a low APR (8%), most others seem to be about 12-15%, except the few with low introductory offers, to expand my DVD collection. The only drawback seems to be a 1.25% commisson of non-sterling purchases, and as most of the DVD's I buy are region 1 or 4 it's a bit of a pain.

IF (http://www.if.com) do a CC at 8.9% APR but 2.75% non sterling commisson seems a bit steep.

Can anyone recommend any other credit card, I thought about Egg but I'm a second cardholder on my wife's account there and I wasn't sure if they would let me have my own account:confused: .

Cahoot are also doing a 5% cashback on CC transfers.

Tried doing it but the damn page timed out on me :(

Will probably have to go through the whole process again.

I've got a Cahoot card and an Egg card. Much of a muchness, pretty much the same control as your Egg card via the online servicing. Can't fault them (if you ignore the amount of nagging I had to do to get my Amazon.co.uk voucher out of them).

Unless you have a bad credit rating, you shouldn't have a problem getting a card from Egg. So what purchases are you trying to hide from your wife then? ;)

I've got a cahoot card, which I use to make all my UK purchases and a Nationwide Visa card to make all my "over-seas" purchases (no commission- NICE!)

My advice is to go and open your self a Nationwide account, piece of ****** :D

It's not what I'm ordering that I want to hide from my wife, but the quantity. Plus I want to upgrade my PC, and she really doesn't need to know how much I'm going to spend on that.;) :D

No problem there. My wife was a second card holder on my account, but she opened up her own egg CC account without any problems....
