Been listening to it for a few weeks now. It's an awesome track, just as good as the original. It may make them money, but I'm sure Kate Bush gets a cut of the royalties.
Just need a up to date version of Electribe 101's Talking With Myself now. Then again, you could re-release the original and it would still sound fresh.
Anyone here admit to doing The Running Man dance back in the day? I did. :suspect:

Absolutely - not that she needs it I'm sure

Loved all that type of stuff...fond memories of parties round mates houses and the Event in Brighton.
I much prefer the original, I may have to get the album now! (Is it still available?)
Did Felix ever release an album? Loved that tune!
Also De'lacey - Hideaway....clubs went mad!
Ahhhh the memories
Any decent comps with all this stuff on?

Never understood why Miss Bush allowed this sample... I've read elsewhere she hates her work being tampered with, which is why the Radioslave mix of King of the Mountain never got a proper release. :(
Was never really a fan of the Utah Saints...
I guess thats the difference between having a remix done (therefore released under her name) and just allowing someone to take a sample and releasing it as their own
I cant imagine the Eric Prydz track "Call on me" being quite as popular had it been labelled "Steve Winwood Valerie remix" ;)

Nope, but only because I could never do it! Still bugs me to this day.
Used to love Utah Saints, saw them "live" at The Lemon Tree in Aberdeen, one of my first ever gigs.

Whilst I don't mind the Van She mix that's been chosen as the lead track it's all about the High Contrast mix (which fortunately is on all the formats of the single) for me, it just sounds amazing played out on a decent system. I do also like the Daysleepers SheBangs mix too which I don't think has made the singles.
Hopefully as a result of their raised profile more people will be going out to see them DJ as they've played some of the best breaks sets I've ever heard in the last year or so - I think the Utah Saints name puts off as many people as it attracts who might not otherwise realise just how good their DJ sets are.

I'm looking forward to the Utah Saints release. As usual there's confusion over the content of the CDs. Amazon shows all the tracks as just Something Good. HMV shows both tracks from CD1 as also appearing on CD2. iTunes has one track available as a download single, with a few others spread across other albums. The Utah Saints MySpace site is pretty light on detail.

Loved the Utah Saints and the new remix is a belter.
90's was the best era for dance no question.
And no I'm not biased at all just because thatswhen I started going out clubbing.
