Hi,
I'm sure this is a common problem, I've a bedroom TV it's only a 14" but I've set it to 16:9 yet just above the black bar (top of the screen) a white line runs right across the screen, anyone else know what I'm on about, and how do I get rid of this.
TA :)
I have also seen this on a 1st Gen 4:3 IDTV (Bush). Does it appear on regular programming or when viewing a second source via someting like Scart?
Mine used to disappear when changing from RGB scart to cbvs I think.
No idea what it is, but my old, old 4:3 used to suffer from it as well if it was set to 16:9 mode.
If its 4:3, and its set to 16:9, I think its just something you have to put up with, or it was 'back in the day'.
Jester, with mine it was only ever seen through SCART as the 16:9 mode was only employed to see what these new 'anamorphic' DVD's were like.

Looks like I'll have to suffer then, I'm not sure what cbvs is but, I've a scart connected (DVD) and a standard ariel for TV viewing, I noticed it flickers to :(
