...although, keep in mind that some items over £18 now display warnings about possible VAT/Import charges for European customers.

Some, but not all. And CD-Wow still say elsewhere on their site that they pre-pay such charges.

So whether this warning is for non-UK customers (afaik the pre-payment deal was with the Royal Mail, and is likely a hangover from Hong Kong's previous status), or not is unclear.

CD-Wow have some good prices, but they do seem somewhat muddled. Another example of this is that quite a few items end up double-listed, such as the Doctor Who single titles: one entry at a bargain price, a second entry at a higher price.

Do they still want paying up-front via PayNova or WorldPay?...

I have severe doubts.

They do take your money in advance (they take credit cards), & sometimes you do have to wait, but sometimes you can have your order in 3 days.

VAT/Import charges as far as I know are not a problem any more (I have ordered a few things over the limit all come through fine, most from a UK/EU address so wouldn't get charged anyway.

The Series 2 of 'new' Who is the least satisfying with quite a few "missies" and the worse story of new Who so far (Fear Her), but you do get the return of Sarah Jane Smith:luv:, Madame De Popmpadour:luv:, The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit, Army of Ghosts/Doomsday & still the best Xmas special & properly one of the best (I think Spearhead from Space is the only one better) newly regenerated Doctor Who story in The Christmas Invasion.
So well worth the £18.99 IMO.

Not showing for me I'm afraid. Series 2 was something like £76.
