okay, i've spend £145 quid on a gameboy advance, 2 games, adapter and mag glass. I dont really like the thing, and i'd rather not have it and save myself the cash.
will Game store refund my cash if i take the item back within 7-14 days? nothing damaged, i've kept all the boxes..
cheers..
as long as you have the receipt, thats a big fat yes - they have that "no spanish inquisition refund" thing going on, so its all good :)

or if you want if for a bit longer, goto eb and buy it again, then argos, then game, then eb, then argos.......

tezmo: appears to be good news. are u sure that the refund policy for GAME is "no fuss"? i did spend a lot of cash. it's not like it's just 1 game i bought. i've been toying with the idea of exchanging one of the two games i bought instead, either that, or get rid of it completely...
lycanthorpe: are you suggesting i keep buying and returing a GBA? what for? i'm not quite following?
I used to work at EB, who own Game, so they have the same policies. How they treat you under the policy will vary from store to store, and depends really on how the manager has trained staff, though typically there will be no fuss (a manager may have to give the nod to the refund due to the size of it - in the past though I have refunded PS2 packages). Note that they will be very interested in the condition of the unit, boxes and stuff - if you've torn the box when opening it, they'll get upset, as they can't resell it someone else as new.
Just remember to take back your receipt, be nice and just ask for a refund, be honest and tell them that you've decided the money would be best spent on something else. Shout about it and you won't get it, if you're not nice they are quite within their right to point to the small print of the policy that states they can restrict refunds to faulty items only, and send you packing.
Also note that the policy is ten days, but the sooner the better. Take it back on the last day and you really are looking to take the pEDITEDs!
Don't worry.

i've opened everything, including the games, and i've been trying to decide whether it should go back. i'm inclining towards the belief that i could spend my money better elsewhere though..
will the accept opened and played games?

Idle Child - You'll be fine mate, I've even taken a 200 quid graphics card back before, with no fuss.
