Are they any good for customs / delivery times / Customer service ?

Never been hit for customs by CDNow but most of my orders were £25-£40 and fairly small packages (3 cd's, 2-3 DVD's etc).

Always used to apply a coupon of some sort to knock the price down a bit as well as they aren't the cheapest out there.

Fantastic customer service, been using them god knows how many years - since they started basically.

Recent example, I had one of my dvd's go awol in an order - they were amazingly quick to offer 2 options:
refund costs of missing order plus postage OR
reship item using DHL/UPS at no cost and track the entire order, including a telephone call to ensure reciept

Great company, and occasionally items do get him buy customs, but it depends what you order.

Much less chance than Amazon anyway as their boxes arent plastered with logo's
