I am very tempted by the Panny PX70 42" and was wondering if there were any other tvs in the price range that would be better value?

I am also tempted to go the cheap option and get the Hannspree 37" as it is under half the cost of the Panny.

You can get the 50" PX70 for under a grand now.. :D

I'm tempted to upgrade and put the 42" in the bedroom.. :nuts:

Does the 50 inch not start showing up the lack of 1080 though?

Probably too big for the living room anyway

For under £1k I'd say the best would be the Panny TH42PZ70B - They are about £900-950 from quite a few places and with 1080p/Full HD and excellent picture quality I think its a bargain.
