R1 Reservoir Dogs - .1 channel ????

Have R1 Reservoir dogs (DD5.1) and finally got round to watching it - noticed the LFE channel is absent - well I think once it turned the sub on out of standby.......anybody else noticed this? The other 5 channels were fine. Seen this also on my R1 Shawshank......:confused:

Since <I>Reservoir Dogs</I> was originally mixed in Dolby Stereo, I wouldn't expect it to have a LFE channel - and the same goes for <I>Shawshank</I>.
