I recently got a tosh ep30 and ps3 and both are linked to my sony kdl40v3000 via my onkyo 605. Been looking at a few of my old dvds and find the picture I get via the tosh is far superior to the picture my ps3 generates.
Does anyone else notice a difference or do I have to adjust settings on ps3?

The Toshiba has better (Anchor Bay) upscaling than the PS3. That's why I'm keeping it.

I just watched the Japanese R2 NTSC Version of Kill Bill Vol. 2 last night and I thought that my ep30 upscaled fantastically.

There was so much extra detail than I had seen before, I was very impressed.

I'm watching on a 32" LCD and I already had a cheapo upscaler and that was good but the image quality is far more impressive on the tosh.
