I reckon it is coming but somebody mentioned that the date was wrong. Expect it later this year instead.

This isn't Fincher's official site but they posted that a source at Criterion told them the disk was coming.

"I have just received information from a source at Criterion that a new Criterion Collection DVD of Fincher's 3rd film will be released on April 25, 2002. This date seems a little early, but we can still hope.
The release will of course be a 2 disc set boasting interviews, trailers, never before seen footage, a psychology test, an isolated score with commentary by Howard Shore, director's commentary, plus much more. We can also expect to hear a DTS soundtrack in addition to the obligatory Dolby Digital track. And as always, the transfer will be in anamorphic widescreen.
If this DVD is half as good as the Criterion Collection laserdisc, it should leave all of you rabid fans quite satisfied."

I contacted Jon Mulvaney at Criterion again and I just got his reply; it's definitely not happening folks................

Dear Darren,

No plans at this time. We don't hold the DVD rights to this film.

First saw Time Bandits in the cinema when I was about 10 and have loved it ever since, I still stick on the Criterion DVD every few months, shame it's not anamorphic though.............

I heard something about Criterion recently picking up some USA Films so maybe The Game will be released eventually (I hope!)
