Hi all, looking to buy a Wii in the next week or so, either online or straight from the shop.
I know nothing about the Wii if i'm honest and it will be used for a family thing, me, the wife and our 2 eldest children(8 and 6).
I've got an xbox 360 for my own gaming needs so i have any games i want for myself on that.

Any ideas on packages and prices please?

Am interested in a Wii for much the same thing. Saw a £250 deal online at Gamestation (http://www.thedvdforums.com/affiliatelink.php?localaffiliateid=52) earlier today with the basic console plus 2 games from a pre-selected list. Some of the games could suit your needs?

EDIT - seems to be out of stock right now though, sorry!

I'm on my 2nd Wii after thinking I'd give it another try - I wasn't impressed before, and I can't say as I'm overwraught now either. However, I was discussing it with a mate the other night and he described it as the "Trivial Pursuit" of this generation (ie, everyone needs one, but it'll sit in the cupboard until friends come round or xmas).

In terms of deals I got a great one instore at HMV - Wii +1GB SD card + Mario Galaxy for £199.
