What recordable DVD discs to buy?

Got myself a Sony RDRGX350B-CEX DVD recorder a few weeks back & I've still to record anything off Sky+ (or anything else for that matter!) with it.

Will get round to it at the weekend, but before I do a couple of questions about it.

What recordable DVD disc's give the best results, & any idea of the cheapest place to get them?

In my experience it really depends on the kit. As my equipment has changed, so have the dependable brands/speeds/types of discs I've ended up using. Partly depends on what you want to spend - you also get the odd manufacturer where dodgy batches of disc rear their ugly heads...

Having said all that, a lot of people seem to swear by Taiko Yuden manufactured discs, although they can often be a little bit pricier than other makes...
