Matrix/Matrix Revisited Question???

According to Rewind the R1 Matrix disc is superior to the R2 and both versions of the Revisited are the same.
Does this mean that the R1 double pack will be the best option?!?

Does anybody know if this is expected out soon???

Well for starters the R2 disc is cut.

A few headbutts and handclaps were deamed to dangerous for us Brits.

Wheres the logic in that? -
Maybe their defination of 'adult' varies from time zone to time zone...

Without the minor cuts, the BBFC would have given it an '18' rating potentially limiting the audience. But doing this does mean that you miss out on the commentary with the R2 disk.

It'll probably be cheaper to buy the region 4 version of "The Matrix" and then buy the region 2 "Matrix revisited" from Play (http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=R2&title=98206), unless you have the requirements for the packaging to match. The R4 version is uncut and otherwise identical to the R1 version except it's PAL - because of the exchange rate though often cheaper.

Eventually, I'm sure they'll also be a region 4 version of the dual pack but haven't seen it listed anywhere, even for pre-order.
