Holy crap what a superb episode. Awesome space battle. Good to see them using Asgard tech on the 302's. Sam finally looking like she is command.
And a WTF ending!
Thank God this hasn't been affected by the WGA strike

Very good episode, didn’t even realise it was back till I say this thread. Probably the best of the season so far, but that is not saying much as the season has not been particularly great. Some nice comic moments and Learna is quite the hotty.
Not a bad episode but too many things we've seen time and time before.
Must admit it was a different way of sorting out the replicators and gave an ending that still keeps the "vision" alive of Atlantis being taken out by an ancient warship.
Did think I wsas watching the second to last episode of DS9 what with the armada attacking the homeworld....
Not sure if the Wraith did something wehen the team were stunned. Not like them to just stun them so they could nicely chat to each other about a deal....would have also thought as well that wouldn't it be in their best interests to keep everyone on side considering the Asgaard weapons could obliterate them in seconds?
And Sam etc are still not overly bothered by the fact they have all the Asgaard's knowledge. Couple of guns fitted that seem more like Ori weapons now (they could have helped in the battle I bet) and that's pretty much it by the look of things.
I though the Replicators built everything out of themselves. So, why were only their ships and human form models affected by the attraction? Nice female one (F.R.A.N) though - liked her entrance and at least she didn't go rogue or something go wrong with her.
Best episode in a long long time. Restored my faith in the show a bit.
The cgi is amazing for a TV show, loved the big space battle, but the new weapons seemed very tacked on and convenient as most things are in the Stargate universe.
I'm confused about Weir though. Didnt they say she died and we know her cloan died. So are we now assuming they were lying about the original Wier being dead, and so what's happened? She's taken command of a bunch of replicators?
Theories anyone?

Didn't we see this vision fulfilled at the end of the previous ep (Mortal Coil?)when the warship destroyed the rogue replicator mock up of atlantis?

Again in the previous ep
(Mortal Coil?) the replicators said they had broken their coding that stopped them from mimicking (sp?) real people. Maybe the rogue replicators made a few copies of her. Maybe there was more than one rogue replicator base and not all were destroyed.

They said in the last episode of Season 3 that the Pegasus Replicators use raw materials to build their ships so they wouldnt be affected.
Just a shame they couldnt have half inched the crewless Replicator warships before the planet blew.

Bloody hell, with the CGI this week it looks like we have at least four character focused, Atlantis based episodes to look forward to next.

Yep, have to agree great episode, but, I thought episode 10 was slightly better. Sucker for episodes where people we know, are not who we think they are.

TV.com has the latest three episodes listed as:
This Mortal Coil (1)
Be All My Sins Remember'd (2)
Spoils of War (3)
And the synopsis for Spoils of War says:
After an all-out assault on the Replicators, the Atlantis team finds a damaged Wraith hive ship drifting in space.
Sure sounds like a continuation to me.

Yea I was mistaken, I got an email this morning from Sci-Fi saying that the episode was about a virus locking down the city which didnt sound much like a continuation but it seems that is next weeks episode.

I'm surprised that there was that much, i thought that they had to destroy the Asgard knowledge to get themselves out of that time loop at the end of the last season of SG1? edit: after having a bit of a search i now see that they did manage to keep everything the Asgard gave them in the end. hmmm...
Nice female one (F.R.A.N) though - liked her entrance and at least she didn't go rogue or something go wrong with her.
funniest bit of the episode for me was when they were on the way to the replicator home planet and Rodney and Zelenka were in a room with her and Rodney kept asking her questions along the lines of 'but wouldn't you rather not cease to exist?' Zelenka just made a face behind him and crept away to one side.

Awesome episode. Really liked the twisty ending with Weir. I don't think she'll be a baddie though.
Am I the only one who thought Fran was adorable?
Fran was lovely, I really thought there would be a way that she was somehow saved and lived another day. Great twist at the end with Weir but I can't see where that he heading at the moment.

Is this the last of the current season ?
Nope, this was episode 11 and there are 20 in all. This was the first episode since the Christmas break.
