Thats weird I posted this at 7:30 and it didn't show up...What with the moderation on this forum?
Oh well It's bargain and deserves an airing.
This was originally posted on a couple of *cough* other less salubrious forums.
BIGGEST bargain ever!!!
Anyone who has a capable PC and doesn't buy/play these games deserves to be shot. Think about it, it contains the best online PC game of the year (TF2), the best single player experience of the year (Portal) and some crappy game which no one has heard of called Half Life 2 and its sequels

Do we need a £1800 PC Ono to play this ?
Absolutely not. The Source engine is one of the best out there and will run happily on really quite lowly PCs.

Recommended for anyone who likes shooters - it really is a brilliant package, and at that price you cannot go wrong!

Nope as said before source have made the very good even on older machines.....
600 would run it very well
Seems rude not to
Does this come with the offer to pass on your current registration codes to a friend if you already own HL2 etc ?
just paid £27 from asda for this :(
qestions...
do you play halflife 2 or half life 2 episode 1 first?
and what is portal?
Ideally play:
HL2
Ep 1
Ep 2
Portal - start when you are half way through HL2
TF2 anytime as it's standalone,
Is this cheaper than the steam price?

Yes cheaper than steam and you get the physical disks for quicker reinstallation it you need to.
Roughly £24.50 on steam.
