Band of Brothers to be released on DVD. Tom Hanks during his interview said it coming to Dvd. Got this info from http://www.thedigitalbits.com/

Cheers mate - Can't come along quick enough - Hope there's plently of extras bungled - including that wonderful ' the real band of brothers' shown on BBC2 after the series finished...

I e-mailed the bbc about band of brothers on DVD. I had a phone call yesterday saying that there were no plans as yet to release it. However, the point was made that it was an HBO production.

As I stated on an e-mail in a separate thread last week, a guy at the BBC told me that it would not be the BBC releasing BOB on DVD. Another company has the rights for R2.
