SV Lynx HDMI Divx DVD Player firmware

Does anybody know if there is a firmware upgrade available for a SV Lynx HDMI Divx DVD Player.

I bought a usb card reader for my Sony Ericsson M2 phone card from moby memory. The 2Gb card that came with it works fine but the 1Gb card that came with my phone cannot be read. It works on my sisters Philips DVD player with USB ok.

Just a guess as I do not have one of those DVD players but it seems odd that it reads the larger capacity card and not the smaller one, usually if it's a firmware issue it's the other way round.

Have you checked both cards in your computer to see how they have been formatted? It could be that one is fat and one is fat32 or something.

I looked at the properties of both and they were identical (except the size). Both FAT. I agree though I thought it was odd too.

I re-formatted my card and now it works :thumbs:

Does anyone know if you can get a codec so you could play ipod mp4 or a video file that can be played on a mobile phone?

Has anybody else had a problem playing certain DVD's?

I try to play "The Illusionist" and "Memento" (both bought dvds) and they dont seem to play properly. The menu shows but the film cannot be played:?:

Other dvds are fine just certain ones.

Maybe there's a firmware update that can solve this
