I have asked in the bargain thread, but figure it fits here better.
Had no problems at all with this player, until I bought a Freeagent 500GB Externall HDD yeaterday which the player doesn't recognise (unsupported). Is this just because it's NTFS formatted? If I format to FAT32, will it work? And finally other than the 4 Gig max file size, is there any other downside to formatting to FAT32?
I'd be using SwissKnife to format the drive.
