Anybody else seen this movie? I've watched a fair few HK/Asian movies in my time but had never heard of this till my girlfriend bullied me into buying it and watching it, and it totally blew me away, an amazing film.

An absolute steal for only $5.50!!

I haven't seen it but I've been looking for a cheap copy, where did you get it for that price?

www.hivizone.com If you've bought from them before, you get a 10% discount on that price too :D

The $5.50 doesn't include p&p, which one one dvd is $5, so true cost is: $10.50 = £7.36, which is still a good price. It's always best to include p&p charges in the price you list rumble, as some etailers only offer courier shipping (Not HiVi though! :)) & that costs a fortune for small orders.

Alternatively you could order from DDDHouse (http://www.dddhouse.com) who have it for $70hk delivered = £6.30.

Not much cheaper, but you could then make your 1st order with HiVi a large one, that way the 10% off will be more effective.

BTW: I have BWWH & think it's one of the better WuXia's out there. If you haven't seen Ashes Of Time I recommend that, but the HK DVD is awful, so I'd wait for the rumoured R1 SE later this year if you decide to check it out.

There's a link in my sig which shows the results of this forums big HK film poll. ;)

I recently bought and watched this film for HK40 (I am in HK) and I have to say this is an excellent movie. The Kung Fu in it is not that special but the plot and visual effects serves the overall film perfectly and everything rolls very neatly into a sadistic, betrayal, love and lust kinda of movie.

Not just one of the better wuxia movies out there, its one of the better HK movies out there full stop. ***** all over A chinese Ghost story. ;)

I'm gonna need to watch the film again as I didn't think it was all that. Although i may have watched the sequal before this or some thing along those lines.
