Please ... I hope someone can point out the stupid thing that I'm doing, or a fix to make everything better ! :)
My k810i calendar has the concept of recurring alarms (something I understand isn't on older models), this seems to be a poor implementation of the concept and it's causing me lots of hassle! My diary (outlook calendar) has a good number of recurring weekly appointments for project meetings which are synced into my phone. Outlook allows one-off changes to be made to the appointments (move a wednesday meeting to thursday this week) without affecting the rest of the matching events, but the phone doesn't seem to be able to handle this. If I move a single instance of a recurring appointment in outlook then resync the phone it stays where it was - I then miss meetings and turn up on the wrong day. If I reschedule on the phone then ALL instances move ! :( I'd be quite happy if the outlook-phone conversion unlinked the appointments allowing items to be moved around at will ... in my environment all changes are made in outlook with its more powerful handling of these things - the phone is just a pocket reminder\schedule checker.
Please someone tell me there's a fix for this (looked for an "unlink recurring alarms" in pc suite ... 2.10.46 btw without success).
