2 red lights on my 360

Finally got one last week and this happens!!!

i know the 2 red lights mean the console is overheating but i have it as close to the window as possible. anything else i need to do.

You know those fans that they sell in Game that attach to the back of the 360, they retail for 15 pounds, are they any good?

Take it back? Microsoft are still replacing them for free afaik.
