Smallville S: 7 - Ep: 6 Lara [[Spoilers]]

So we've had 2 previous Supermans and now a previous Supergirl...

Starts off with a flashback to Krypton and what basically is a live action version of Missile Command.

Kara's dada sounded a lot like his brother Jor-El, but was a randy old bugger who lost Lara (Clarks mum) to him.

Even though she was preggers he decided to try it on again then mind wiped (classy) his daughter when she discovered what was going on.

Lara is busy trying to find the crystal and is less than subtle about it, and ironically in the final reveal we find out Clark has swiped it as it contains his mom's DNA.

That will no doubt be revisited when it gets activated and he'll no doubt be faced with an agonising choice of stopping impending doom by no doubt stopping a clone of his mom.

All the while Agent Carter was about, I kept thinking about Cadmus...will be interesting to see if they ever bring it in...

Ooooh, I actually enjoyed the cheesy flashbacks, they sure are taking the show in different directions of the comicbook. Cadmus never really crossed my mind but as soon as Kandor was mentioned I'm now wondering if the crystal, when activated, will create a version of the miniatured bottled city of Kandor from the comics?

Anyways, despite the intrigue of the above, it was more-of-the-same from Smallville. The "Top Secret" "Heavily-secured" department of Homela.... Oops I mean Domestic Security Lab was inflitrated by most of the cast!! ... Heck, even Lionel ducked & dived past the "security". Also Chloe once again loses out with her man in lurrrvvv with someone else, you gotta love her wide-eyed, quivering lower-lip look ..... thankfully the inclusion of the radiant, Super-MILFy Helen Slater distracted me away from these annoyances. :D

Loved the first shot of Krypton at the start, but didn't like the dodgy flyover night shots of "Washington", i.e. they were the same ones they use for Metropolis only with DC landmarks pasted in at random places!
