pre-orders with absound.ca

what are absound like with pre-orders? will they send them out early if they get the stock.. or do they wait till the release date?

i'm after ghost world, which ringos have already, and i don't want to wait very long to see it! :)

Hi there, it really depends on the pre-order, but usually they send stuff out the Friday before the Tuesday release so mostly you get it the day of release or a day after, but had it once that they send something even earlier. but if it is a very limited release than they don't order it in automatically and you have to wait. Never had to wait very long. Hope this helps

Never had pre-orders from absound before the release date. The latest being Sixth Sense Vista which shipped on Thursday but was released on the Tuesday. Still haven't got it yet but not that bothered at the low prices they charge.

I've pre-ordered Ghost World from them myself. Then noticed that MT are already shipping - oh well!

ABsound are pretty kewl for pre-orders, maybe not Ringos and MT, but very rare that you're still waiting after release. I went with them in this case cos of the price - something which can be applied to ABsound in most cases!!
