ARGH... Access restricted... Cut n Paste folks?
I only caught the last five minutes but it was classic with her boo hooing and saying she had lots of information in a box hidden away that will come out if she gets murdered!
she is barking, absolutely barking!!!!
(note to heathers lawyers if they read here: - i dont mean to cause offence, or upset heather - it is my personal opinion that she came across as barking mad - a few sandwiches short of a picnic!!)

She's on This Morning right now...
She's on This Morning right now...
with her dodgy dossier?
It's on the gm.tv website if anyone missed it.
Why does her voice go so high?
Jesus she is mental. Does she carry that scrapbook with her everywhere?
Hmm, from a certain point of view I agree with a lot of what she says.
ooh, you're a heartless lot
only watched the first 4 mins, but I felt quite sorry for her
yes, she's not the most likeable person in the world, and I'm no liberal, but I've always found the 'one-legged' jokes pretty distasteful

Yes, she's hopping mad and she isn't going to take it anymore!
The point she's trying to make is how easily led people are by what the media reports.
Cant believe how hard done to she is, I mean only getting offered £100 million in their divorce settlement - It is mostly her money after all!
TBH, I really dislike the woman! I understand divorces are hard etc etc and there should be no bad feeling and hurtful things said but even if there is, you can still hold your head up and be the bigger person! Going on TV and crying on moaning and pretending you are going to be killed! From what I have seen, she seems to be bad mouthing Paul a lot and he has kept quiet (I may have missed things in the press! but thats how it has seemed to me!)
Well if you watched it she has not been offered any money.
Although i'm not that keen on the woman i think something does need to be done with all the crap in the paper these days. And then only a little bit when they get it wrong.
She's right when she says the laws regarding the press needed to be changed. A free press is crucial to any democracy, but things have long been out of control. IMO, if it's proven in court you made a story up? You goto prison. Of course this will never happen.

Haven't seen it, but I read her comments on MSN.
The print media are out of control, and i've got an easy way to stop them making up pages of B.S, like they often do. Months later they bury a tiny apology in the middle of the paper somewhere.
The Ombudsman should make a rule where if one of the papers storys is deemed to be falsified, they have to give the same amount of pages over to the apology.
For instance, if it's front page news and then gets proven to be made up, they should have to have the apology as the front page. Their circulation would drop substantially that week and they would be loathed to make up stuff in future.
Gary A
I too agree with her comments about the press - they are out of control and have been for a long time. Don't care for the woman much but I did also think that the Peter and Katie Unleashed sketch last week was a step (no pun intended) too far.
Basically, leave the woman alone, she will go away, we won't have to hear from her again - everyones a winner.
Basically, leave the woman alone, she will go away, we won't have to hear from her again - everyones a winner. That's not true though is it. This type of person lives for attention like this. She's in the same group as Parasite Hilton et al, famous for being infamous with no actual 'worth' to warrant the attention.
I don't have any time for her, but she is 100% correct on this issue.
I deal with the press on a day to day basis through my job and I know for a fact that just about every story they print has some inaccuracies in it. Usually it's just lazy journalism, but sometimes it's more sinister. You only realise that it's bull**** when you have been involved yourself and know the actual facts.
She's on News24 now.

Jebus! She must have a skateboard bolted on - No newsroom/chat show is safe from her today! Adopting a VERY anatagonistic stance to the News24 bods and not missing an opportunity to have a pop at Macca either.
Her PR person is nuts for letting her do this. As if she wasn’t disliked enough already. Where’s the next stop on the Mills Roadshow? She’ll be gatecrashing Blue Peter or CBeebies next. :D

I dont know much about her or have too much sympathy with anyone who uses the media, but I despise the tabloid media and the current fascination with modern 'celebrity' life. If I want to read the news I want to read proper knews, not a load of crap about two bit talentless celebrities, their relationships and their children. I can't understand the fascination with it in this country, or why so many people want to be famous without having any talent. It's mind numbing. :oh-hum:
Just had a look at some of it. She is over irate but I can see where she's coming from. The press in this country are a disgrace, the way they stalk and hound people. I can't imagine ever being in a situation where they're camped on your doorstep 24/7. I'd plough into them with a baseball bat or something, it's discusting and intrusion.

Well, I'm no Heather Mills fan but I absolutely agree with one thing she's saying:
If a newspaper has to print a correction, it should be the same size and position as the original article.
I felt sorry for her to be honest.
I agreed with everything she is saying about the media and the whole celebrity/paparazzi culture, it need a good overhaul.
I don't know what to think of her as the only stuff i know comes from the newspapers etc and you cant trust any of it to be the truth.

Exactly, and I think that's the point she's trying to make.
I don't quite get this divorce settlement gubbins. She stands to get a hell of lot of money out of it- why? She didn't earn any of it, she doesn't need anywhere near that much to live comfortably- unless she wants a golden peg leg- so why is she allowed to take that much off him? Just because he has it?
Caught the end on This Morning, Fern still had her mike on a few seconds before the next link and you could hear her say "Ahh peace and quiet"

Just the way things are at the moment regarding divorce, in the above case, the woman doesn't even have kids, and Heather Mills does.
p.s. the husband in the above is not worth anywhere near as McCartney does, so the % the woman got is about 40/50% I recall correctly.
I was suprised to hear her say that she would rather live in American than the UK. Surely the media attention someone receives is equal, if not worse, than the attention over here?
Whilst I agree with the basic argument that the tabloid frenzy is taken too far (hounding papps etc), I still cant fully sympathise with the celebrities who milk the media dry when the need to but criticise it when they dont, especially someone like Heather Mills whose very status rose from her celebrity relationship, which she then used to further her own career.
Regardless of her argument she will get crucified tomorrow, and to be honest I cant blame them, as she has gone about this campaign in the wrong way. All her interviews this morning will be remembered for her crazed state rather than the message she was trying to put accross.
What message? It was all "me me me me me poor me me me me sob".

I was expecting some mental crazy ranting, but she seemed pretty together.
Her main points were that she gets a lot of hassle from the press, they make up stories about her, and she wants responsible journalism - of course the papers will go to town tomorrow, because they know it's all true but would like to fool us into believing otherwise.
The quality of reporting and "news" in the british tabloids is utter dross.

The fake tears were something else, weren't they?
What a whingey moaning dumb bitch. Definitely set any case she had back a couple of decades there.
Love how they had to go to an ad break to shut her up.
edit: just watched Part 2 where she rants about someone "a certain person" apparently wanting to bump her off! WTF! And her secret box of evidence that is keeping her would-be killer at bay!
Fiona was flippin' useless, as always.
I guess she's going to have to sue the BBC as well for that funny photo that was on Have I got News for You the other day.

I see one of the evening papers has published some of her "glamour modelling" photos ... sorry love but they are definitely porn, given what you're doing to the bloke in them and what he's doing to you. I never saw any glamour modelling photos that involved more than one person.
Said paper (I'm not going to name it or link to it here, no black marks thanks) would not have gone looking for these pics if she hadn't freaked out on GiMpTV today. Talk about an own goal

I can see what she's saying regarding the media but having spent time in and around the 'industry' I've heard many an unpleasent story about her so it's hard to sympathise.
Of course, it wasn't so long ago she was going on about how she earns plenty of money on her own and would never stake a claim to Macca's fortune.

But given that she was supposed to say that she would live off her own earnings and not take his money. This I think was before the marriage.
Also just because shes allowed to have it doesnt mean she has to take it. If she takes it then some people will rightly label her a golddigger. Espeially as she is holding out for the money and the right to sell her story/life with him.

I like the way she compares herself to Diana in the interview, and is also heavily involved in campaigning against landmines. Hmmm...
She's obviously a paranoid narcissist who is going through a very public breakdown. That sort of thing should elicit sympathy but in her case I wish it would just hurry up and consume her.

Can't stand the manipulative slag...
...nice funbags though! :D:
Im glad she has finally learnt the price she has had to pay for messing with a living legend (McCartney)
I think that's the main problem with the press, and to a certain extent the British public, she married "Saint Paul the living legend" who can do no wrong. The bad press only really started when she got involved with him. It's quite funny that Linda McCartney was also hated by the British press & public when she got involved with McCartney, she was the scarlet divorcee with a child who was corrupting poor Paul. :oh-hum:
As for what she's done, I'd agree that her profile has been raised since being married to Paul McCartney but she had been involved in quite a bit of charity work long before she even met him. In the early 90's (before her accident) she was raising money for refugees of the Yugoslavia/Bosnia/Slovinia war.
In the early 90's (before her accident) she was raising money for refugees of the Yugoslavia/Bosnia/Slovinia war.But then so was anyone who ever put money in a collection box or christian aid envelope, it doesn't make her special or even worthy of attention. She's all "Look at me! I'm such a good person!" all the time. Plus her "work" with Peta (the most hypocritical bunch of ***** in the world) makes me want to vom.
Felt sorry for he tbh, thought she had some good points about the media. It's almost got to the point of the National Enquirer and the classic Sunday Sport made up stories with no substance now.

Very strange because in the GMTV interview she was adamant that she never called 999 and always used the 08whatever non-emergency number. So either her or the cops must be lying then. Although I guess she would claim that this story is one of the things that The Times has made up, even though they quote a Chief Superintendent Kevin Moore.
Felt sorry for he tbh, thought she had some good points about the media. It's almost got to the point of the National Enquirer and the classic Sunday Sport made up stories with no substance now.
Don't think anyone is disagreeing with her there. I think her idea (or whoever's idea it was originally) that the media should have to print/broadcase an apology of the same size/page or length/timeslot if found to be lying is a very good one. The problem is that she expressed the point like a totally hysterical screaming loon with badly acted fake tears. And the website she was going on about - youcare.com (http://www.youcare.com) - is totally amateur (appears that her sister did it or something). If she's serious about her campaign then chuck a few hundred quid at a decent web designer to put something proper together.

Just had a look at that website she was on about. It's shocking, something a schoolchild would put up about the school bully.
No one is going to take that seriously.
Haven't seen the sun today but the other tabloids are going to town on her today judging by what I saw in my fellow commuters papers.
the whole thing was a terrible idea, she may have had a couple of valid points, but that was thrown away the moment she started using her TV/radio airtime to lay smacks on Macca.
Claiming his fans are Beatles nutters, and making sure she bought up reported allegation off air so the media would get hold of it again, as well as the jibes about him not so well hidden behind the constant I've kept quiet for him comments.
With any luck she will move to the US, though think they would be fed up with her within a month also. Attention seeking disorder if ever there was one.
size of apology = size of original article is a fair point.

Those kinds of papers are the same the world over. Ours are not unique or uniquely bad. Who cares anyway, let the proles have their comics. As long as there are proprietors who publish worthwhile papers with serious journalism we should be grateful that The Sun et al are keeping the knuckle-draggers occupied!
Mills doesn’t have a leg to stand on - She used the tabloids to her advatage in the past and now she’s going after an ex-Beatle’s fortune AND demanding the right to spill her guts in a book (and on TV) about their relationship! You’d have to be very, very dim indeed to think the Tabs weren’t going to go for the jugular.
Surely the thinly veiled sideswipes at Macca in these interviews are only going to strengthen his position in the divorce negotiations?

One effect was to force Ms Mills's PR adviser to quit. Phil Hall, a former editor of the News Of The World, was strongly against her going on television to hit out at her detractors — including calling for a boycott of the Sun.
He said: “We are still mates but I am not working with her any more. She wanted me to orchestrate this campaign but I have a good relationship with newspapers and my business depends on feeding that good relationship.” He said Ms Mills is now handling her own PR.
God help us!
Shes right waht she says, the press have went overboard with all the venom aimed at her. shes vunerable and they should lay off. What if she does top herself? Is that what they want? Maccas no angel in all of this either, must have been nice poking some younger bird at his age.

I fail to understand how macca is regarded with such huge legendary status. Ok so he (with lennon) wrote some classic songs, but they were a trend of that era. How often nowadays do you hear a beatles song in any form?

Yeah I thought that until I saw him perform at Glastonbury a few years ago, it was flippin' legendary. Don't knock it until you've seen him live. The Electric Proms concert that he did on the BBC last week was pretty damn good too, especially the red button extended version.

Is that what they want?It would make her more interesting that's for sure, oh and stop her yakking in that godawful accent of hers. :p
So tell us, what sort of accent have you got. Duncan norvelle style or more of a dale winton?

there's a LOT of stuff about PM to come out of the woodwork by all accounts
But if the papers are printing lies then why not sue them?
It's a shame Victim Heather™ won't ever get to tell-all actually. Of course even if she did you'd not be able to trust the ‘truthiness’.

i think she's a bit odd. but then I can't stick him so I think they made the ideal couple.

So, apparently toddlers are coming up to Mills and saying that because of how she’s been treated they’re swearing off the tabs for life! Presumably otherwise they’d already be picking up The Sun, a can of Tennant’s Super and a packet of Capstan full strength to have with their rusk in the morning.
At least she dialled down the crazy this morning. Shame.

Do toddlers even know what the Sun is, apart from that thing in the sky?

Quite a lot actually and also hear the influences in many other songs too. tbh, voilence to women is not on, hitting a women is a very despicable act but.,......it wouldnt suprise me if McCartney did hit her given how manipulative she is (tears come on...tears go off). I bet she did his head in.
you saying its okay to hit her if she's annoying then?
perhaps she did say she didn't want any cash before they married, but they have a kid now so it changes things.
at least its clear the papers do print lies, for people who saw the interview last week and then read the papers the next day. as she said, she isn't a peadaphile or a murder yet gets this very very nasty press, and i'm another who is bored by the one leg jokes, bit tasteless.

Yes.
With a hammer.
Twice.
The jokes may be tasteless but she loves peas.

:DSorry but .. :lol::lol:
No I think Mucca's claim is that Sir Paul admitted hitting Linda McCartney. Which would be fairly inexcusable, I think she was fairly universally liked.
IIRC Linda was also hated by the press & beatle fans although not as much Heather. To be honest I don't think it would matter who he married, they would be hated, for some reason he has a God-like status and can do no wrong. Like others have said there's something I just don't like about the man, I think he's not quite the goody-two-shoes that he comes across in public.

Does he **** to porn?
I've barely heard of her but this thread certainly illustrates how people have been turned against her by her media coverage; which rather proves her point.
I can't stand the Beatles and Macca comes across as a dimwit but that doesn't stop me detesting that awful, manipulative monster Heather.

I bet she did his head in.Actually sat down and listen to some beatles songs last weekend. if you listen to the less popular ones it's quite surprising at some of the lyrics ARE quite :suspect: Like the 'sliver hammer' one, and 'run for your life'

She does it her self though. You admit you've never really heard of her. Well I have and I've never heard anyone recount a single positive anecdote about her. It's all negative. If nothing else these latest public tantrums prove what a rampant egomaniac she is.
I just feel that if she hated the bad publicity so much she'd just shut up and stop making printable news
She loves it and lives for this ****!
I love DListed's take on the latest:
Devil Mills Gets Dumped
Heather Mills has been fired by her lawyers for acting like a crazy bitch on TV. Everyone advised Heather not to go on television and scream about the media and Paul McCartney. She ignored them and went on anyway. She also went on GMTV again yesterday to try and clean up her earlier rant.
The law firm of Mishcon de Reya (fancy!) called her up yesterday and told her she's no longer a client.
A source told The Sun, “She was warned against going on TV and talking about Paul, their marriage and anything about her daughter. But she just refused to listen. She was told time and again to keep quiet because she might hand Sir Paul’s lawyers an easy victory."
“But she is so crazy she decided she knew better than the best divorce lawyers in the country."
Damn. Even greedy ass lawyers want nothing to do with this crazy bitch. Maybe Britney's lawyer, Anne Kiley, can help out? That's what Heather gets! She shot herself in the foot by going on TV. Which was stupid, because she really...really needs that foot!

I just feel that if she hated the bad publicity so much she'd just shut up and stop making printable news
she did say in the interview that she did shut up for a whole year, but they still kept coming after her
ultimately, it's a futile quest because the media are too powerful (politicians in their pockets help) and will quash her
it's a shame, because she's not very likeable , but she does speak some sense
the press will always win until someone like Ant & Dec or Bradley Walsh step up
Wish she'd take a long walk off a short pier, prefereably on a stormy day like today.

She is clearly unbalanced. A few beer mats under her left foot should sort that out.
