Ok...who was the killer...I just watched this again for the first time in years...i'm 99% sure of who I think the killer is...it's left very open to speculation at the end...i'd like to hear everyone's take on it!

You reckon ~phunk~ will ever find the answer out?

Well this would be Mr Verhoeven's explanation - I'm sure. But he's proven to be the king of nonsensical plots and blatant errors so... have you anything else to go on?

I'd say Jeanne Tripplehorn did it; it makes the film more interesting and more original. Doesn't mean that's Verhoeven's intention, of course!

I think Verhoeven's half-assed intention was, as dunkrag said, that Sharon Stone did it. And his sole giveaway is that she's the one that ends up with an ice pick! Which means....all you who bought the R1 did it too!

yeah, i thought catherine did it as well, but it was just too obvious with the icepick at the end, I was hoping that i'd missed something somewhere. Also do you think she was about to kill him until he changed his mind about the rugrats? The way she looks at him is very devious indeedy, he he

Has he ?
Nothing strikes me currently as falling into that (watch me get proven wrong very quickly and vehemently ! ;) ).
