anybody know the best place to get my hands on one of these? Cheapest I can find it is for £117.

Don't think you're gonna get it much cheaper than that at the moment.
I just ordered from here (http://www.121cdr.co.uk/) for £120 with next day delivery.

But if you want to wait another month or so it should drop even more as the Plex 40x burner is due out in feb sometime I think.

thanks! yeah, the ebuyer one does work out more expensive. However, on their site there is the external plextor - might sit nicely next to my new laptop!
