Has anybody had any experince in ordering from DVD VideoPlanet (http://www.dvdvideoplanet.com/) ?

Are they customs friendly?

I notice that being based in New Zealand they reduce prices for international orders by 12.5% (NZ Sales Tax) :)

Any feedback would be welcome
Thanks

On first glance, the prices don't look too bad (~£10-50 for a typical single DVD e.g. Chocolat). But what really bumps up the cost is the international delivery - for the first DVD it adds around £4-20 to the price. The second one you add an additional 60p (and so on).

I've never used them though but on a cost and reliabilty basis I would most likely stick to my usual R4 AUS suppliers - Devoted, EzyDVD or DVDCrave.

Any updates on these guys??

They seem pretty cheap for Buffy S2 which works out at £49.83 delivered via DVDPricecheck.

Anyone got crunched by customs???

Don't forget that DVDPriceCheck only calculates shipping for single items though -- in actual fact it should be NZ$153.96 + NZ$26 delivery (NZ$16 first DVD, 2xNZ$2 for next 5) -- comes to NZ$179.96, which is about £52.50 -- still not too shabby :)

(That's standard shipping though, 15-25 days delivery -- express delivery, ~5 working days, would've been another tenner or so).

Would be interested to hear about Customs though...
