View Full Version : Journeyman 1-3 *Spoilers*
Another good episode. The quake FX were cool although blink & you'll miss them. The main plot continues to be drip-fed to us but it's still intriguing, especially discovering his ex was "travelling" before she met our hero. :suspect:
I feel like the jealous/whiney wife is not needed, as we get to see the bigger picture, their relationship issues just seem insignificant.
How does the whiney wife keep thinking he's making it up, FFS she was on a plane with him when he leaped.
Still enjoying this, especially the opportunity to keep looking at Moon Bloodgood, having just finished watching her in Daybreak.
Most intriguing thing for me is where she is 'living' now - he asked her this last week but didn't get an answer. Clearly not in the present as she knew nothing about his wife.

I didn't get the impression that his wife thinks he's making it up anymore. She's just fed up with him 'jumping' all the time and is now rightly ****** off that he's been lying about seeing his ex.
To be fair it's good the writers address things like that. It would have been sloppy if she was just happy for her husband to keep disappearing all the time.
But let's face it, the wife is a bit whingy....now the ex on the other hand... :D
Just started watching this, I am really liking it. Good news is that nbc have ordered another 3 scripts, so it not cancelled yet.

Wouldn't read too much into that with the writers strike approaching. But yeah, i'm pleased it's continuing for a bit. It's starting to feel like a time travel show for "adults", as it tries to actually deal with the practicalities of what it would be like being in the position where you can disappear with a moment's notice and how it would effect those around you. Which is very interesting and quite innovative, but i'm still wondering if it can really keep up much interest ratings-wise unless it really starts to ramp up the drama a bit more.
Having said that, the quake effects were great this week, John Billingsley was, well, John Billingsley as usual but very effective, Moon Bloodgood was lovely (and i presume she actually has some control over where she's "travelling", unlike Dan) and once again, Dan's brother's eyes are far too close together.
"Chuck", "Heroes" and then "Journeyman" - now that's a decent Monday night's worth of TV eh?
