X-Files - where does the movie fit in?

I'm just starting to watch the X-Files from the very start, and will watch the movie as part of this huge undertaking - I suspect it will take me around 6 months to watch the whole lot if I can only fit in one episode a day!

Can someone confirm that the movie fits in between S5 and S6? I'm sure I read it somewhere, but can't remember where that was.

I got made redundant about a year ago and i bought the boxset with part my redundancy package :D and i watch the whole 9 seasons + movie in a month.....

the movie is top. i've been meaning to start watching it again from the beginning but im going to have to watch the last 2 seasons of buffy that my mate hasn't seen yet :D

Bought the whole season set over a year ago, just got past the movie and into S6. It really is great TV, only been a casual viewer until recently and only caught a few eps on the original run

Pah! A month while unemployed? Surely each Season can fit comfortably into a day so you'd only need about 9 days of solid watching to do it all. :D
